PayWren is now on the iPhone

PayWren for iPhone is live on the New Zealand App Store. It's free to download, and it's the same PayWren you use on the web: same account, same clients, same invoices.

We built it for the moments the laptop isn't there. You've just finished a job and want the invoice gone before you drive off. You're holding a receipt you'll lose by Friday. You're on site and want the clock running.

What you can do in the app

The app covers the jobs you do away from your desk:

• Send a GST-ready invoice in a couple of minutes, with 15% GST worked out for you
• Scan a receipt with your camera. PayWren reads the amount, GST and date on your phone
• Track time with a live timer, by client and rate, then turn it into an invoice
• See where you stand: what you're owed, what's overdue, and your GST and income-tax estimates
• Keep working offline. Log a receipt or start a timer with no signal, and it syncs when you're back

Your data stays locked down

Your invoices and expenses are financial records, so the app treats them that way. You can lock PayWren behind Face ID, and receipts are read on your phone before anything is uploaded.

Already using PayWren?

Download the app and sign in with your existing PayWren account. Everything you've set up on the web is already there, including your clients, invoices, expenses and GST settings. Changes on your phone show up on the web, and the other way round.

If you pay for PayWren on the web, your plan carries over. You don't need to subscribe again in the app.

What you need

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later and an Apple Account set to New Zealand. The app is NZ-only for now. There's no iPad version yet.

If PayWren doesn't come up when you search the App Store, use the direct App Store link. New apps can take a few days to rank in search.
