5 ways to get paid faster
Practical tactics that NZ freelancers use to reduce their average days-to-pay.
1. Invoice immediately — don't batch
Invoice the moment work is delivered, not at the end of the month. Clients pay faster when the work is fresh in their mind. PayWren's ⚡ Quick Invoice takes under 30 seconds.
2. Make payment effortless

3. Use net-14 instead of net-30
30-day terms are standard but 14-day terms are equally common and acceptable for most NZ freelance work. Change the default due date when creating invoices, or update your standard payment terms in the invoice notes.
4. Chase promptly — not aggressively
