Set up your services catalogue
Save your standard services and rates so you can add them to invoices in a click. No retyping.
What the Services catalogue is for
Services are your reusable rate cards: a list of the things you charge for with standard descriptions, units, and rates. Instead of typing "Website design: day rate $950" every time you create an invoice, you pick it from a list.
Add a service
Go to Services in the sidebar and click + New Service. Enter:
- Name: short label (e.g. "Day rate", "Strategy session", "Copywriting") - Description: the line item description that appears on invoices - Rate: your standard price - Unit: how you charge (hour, day, word, project, etc.)
Use a service on an invoice
When creating or editing an invoice, click + Add Line Item and start typing the service name in the description field. A dropdown shows your matching services. Select one and the description, rate, and unit pre-fill. Adjust the quantity and you're done.
Archive old services
If your rates change or you stop offering something, click Archive on the service. It disappears from the invoice picker but stays in the historical record. Past invoices that used it are unaffected.
